From Banking to Broking, With People at the Centre

Martin's spent more than 20 years in banking and financial services across the UK and Australia. Eventually, he decided there was a better way to help people with their finance.

Working inside banks gave Martin a deep understanding of lending and how financial institutions make their decisions. It also showed him the limitations of being able to offer clients products from only one lender.

The Mortgage People grew from a simple idea: start with the person, understand what they're trying to achieve, then look for lending options that actually suit their circumstances.
